|Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute the antibody with 500 µl sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200 µg/ml.
|Stability and Storage
|Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -20°C. Reconstituted antibody can be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20°C for at least six months without detectable loss of activity.
|This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a rat) immunized with mouse recombinant protein of TNFRSF11B.

|Osteoprotegerin (OPG)/osteoclastogenesis inhibitory factor (OCIF) is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily and is now referred to as TNFRSF11B. It is an osteoblast secreted decoy receptor that binds specifically to osteoprotegrin ligand (OPGL/TNFSF11) to inhibit osteoblast maturation. It is also a decoy receptor for TRAIL and inhibits TRAIL-induced apoptosis. Human and mouse OPG share approximately 84% and 94% amino acid sequence identity, respectively, with rat OPG. Natural OPG exists predominantly as disulfide-linked dimers.
