Slide this table
|Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute the antibody with 500 µl sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200 µg/ml.
|Stability and Storage
|Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -20°C. Reconstituted antibody can be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20°C for at least six months without detectable loss of activity.
|This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a rat immunized with purified mouse recombinant protein of LIF. The IgG2 fraction of the culture supernatant was purified by Protein A/G affinity chromatography.
|recombinant mouse LIF
|Based on its helical structure, LIF (Leukemia Inhibitory Factor) is considered a member of the Interleukin-6 family of cytokines. Functionally, it has been implicated in a many physiological processes including development, hematopoiesis, bone metabolism, and inflammation. Some cell types known to express LIF include activated T cells, monocytes, astrocytes, osteoblasts, keratinocytes, regenerating skeletal muscle, mast cells, and fibroblasts.
