Size | 100 µg |
Price | 260 € |
Category | Monoclonal Antibody |
Clone Nr. | (#LA5) |
Isotype | IgG2a |
Species Reactivity | Mouse |
Formulation | lyophilized |
Buffer | PBS |
Reconstitution | Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. |
Stability and Storage | The lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 2 years at -20°C. After sterile reconstitution the antibody is stable at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -20°C. Addition of a carrier protein or 50% glycerol is recommended for frozen aliquots. |
Preparation | The antibody was produced by a rapid differential immunization of DA rats (licenced from Tokyo Women’s Medical University, Japan) with collagenase- and neuraminidase-treated mouse benign lymphangiomas. The rat IgG2a antibody was purified from cell culture supernatant by Protein G chromatography. |
Antigen | with collagenase- and neuraminidase-treated mouse benign lymphangiomas |
Application | WB, IHC, FC, IF |
Synonyms | Blood endothelial cell marker 12 |
Description | LA5 reacts with most mouse blood vessels except heart, large arteries and veins, but not with any lymphatic vessels. LA5 recognized a protein of around 12 kDa. The antigen recognized by LA5 was localized on both luminal and abluminal lymphatic endothelial cell membranes. Besides blood vessels, some lymphoid cells are also recognized. |

Specificity: LA5 [Cat# 103-M154] reacts with most mouse blood vessels except heart, large arteries and veins, but not with any lymphatic vessels. LA5 recognized a protein of around 12kDa. The antigen recognized by LA5 was localized on both luminal and abluminal blood endothelial cell membranes. Besides blood vessels, some lymphoid cells are also recognized.
The experiments were performed by the research group of Prof. T. Ezaki, TWMU, Tokyo, Japan.

Immunoenzymatic staining of mouse spleen with LA5 [Cat# 103-M154]. Central arteries and small blood vessels, but not splenic sinuses are stained. Some LA5 positive lymphoid cells are also localized in the PALS (periarterial lymphoid sheath) and the red pulp (colored brown by HRP-DAB reaction).
The experiments were performed by the research group of Prof. T. Ezaki, TWMU, Tokyo, Japan.

Immunofluorescence staining of BEC12/LA5 (green) [Cat# 103-M154] and LEC26/LA102 (red) [Cat# 103-M152] in the tongue (upper panel) and small intestine (lower panel) from C57BL/6 female mice. Fresh frozen cryosections (10 micron thick) were fixed with acetone for 10 min at RT and then reacted directly with Biotin-conjugated LA102 followed by streptoavidin-Cy3 (red) and Alexa488 labeled LA5 (green) for double staining.
The experiments were performed by the research group of Prof. T. Ezaki, TWMU, Tokyo, Japan.
