Rat Anti-Mouse IL-1 R1
Slide this table
|Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute the antibody with 500 µl sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200 µg/ml.
|Stability and Storage
|Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -20°C. Reconstituted antibody can be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20°C for at least six months without detectable loss of activity.
|This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a rat) immunized with mouse recombinant extracellular domain of mouse IL-1 R1 protein. IgG2 fraction of the tissue culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

|IL-1 receptor type I (IL1R-I) is an 80 kD transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed on T cells, thymocytes, dendritic cells, fibroblasts, vascular endothelial cells, epithelial cells and neural cells. IL1R-I binds the mature forms of IL-1α, IL-1β, and IL-1Ra proteins. High affinity binding and signaling by the type I IL-1 receptor requires CD121a and the accessory protein, IL-1R AcP, which does not bind IL-1 alone, but forms a dimer capable of binding IL-1.
