PreparationThis antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a mouse) immunized with Human TNFSF13 (also called A Proliferation-inducing Ligand (rhAPRIL)) recombinant protein.
AntigenHuman recombinant TNFSF13 EC domain
SynonymsTNFSF13; APRIL; CD256; TALL2; ZTNF2; TALL-2; TRDL-1; UNQ383/PRO715
DescriptionA proliferation-inducing ligand (APRIL), also known as TALL-2 and TRDL-1, is a type II transmembrane protein that is a member of the TNF ligand superfamily (TNFSF13). APRIL expression is low in normal tissues, but is elevated in several types of tumors and transformed cell lines. APRIL stimulates proliferation of tumor cell lines and increases tumorigenicity in nude mice.
