Description / anti-mouse Omgp monoclonal antibody
Oligodendrocyte myelin glycoprotein (OMgp) is a GPI-linked glycoprotein that exhibits multiple leucine-rich repeats and putative N- and O-linked glycosylation sites. It is primarily expressed on the surfaces of oligodendrocytes and large projection neurons, including Purkinje and pyramidal cells. OMgp binds a heterodimeric receptor complex consisting of Nogo R and NGF R/TNFRSF16 to collapse axonal growth cones and inhibit axonal and neurite outgrowth.
