Description / anti-human LECT-2 monoclonal antibody
LECT2, also known as chondromodulin II, is a 16 kDa secreted protein preferentially expressed in the liver. It has significant sequence homology with chicken myb-induced myeloid protein 1 (mim-1). LECT2 is a neutrophil chemotactic protein, and it also stimulates chondrogenic growth. The amino acid sequence of human LECT2 shares 86% and 82% identity with bovine and mouse LECT2, respectively.
