Monoclonal Antibody ; lyophilized
TACSTD2; EGP1; GP50; M1S1; EGP-1; TROP2; GA7331; GA733-1
This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells from a mouse) immunized with Human TROP-2 recombinant protein.
human recombinant TROP-2
Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -70°C. Reconstituted antibody can be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 °C for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity.
Reconstitute the antibody with 500 µl sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200 µg/ml.
Human TROP-2, also called tumor associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TACSTD2), gp50 and T16, is a type I cell surface glycoprotein that is highly expressed on human carcinomas. It is related to EpCAM, also called TROP-1, gp40 and KSA. A study of these two genes suggests that TROP-2 was generated through the retropositioning of the EpCAM gene. TROP-2 and EpCAM share approximately 49% amino acid sequence identity and approximately 67% similarity. Mature human and mouse TROP-2 share 80% amino acid identity.
